PUBLIC HOUSING

If you are interested in putting in an application, please call 336-226-8421 or email to teresadavis@burlingtonhousingauthority.org to have a packet mailed to you.

To apply for housing you must:

1. Complete pre application that will be mailed upon request
2. Call to schedule an appointment
3. Bring the following items/documents with you:

• Valid State ID on everyone 18 years and older
• Social Security card on all family members
• Certified copy (original - no photo copies) of all family members birth certificate(s)

1. All members that are 18 years old and older that are listed on your application, MUST be present for the interview.

SECTION 8 BURLINGTON HOMES

To apply for housing you must:

1. be 62 years of age or disabled/handicapped
2. Complete pre application (see form below)
3. Call to schedule an appointment
4. Bring the following items/documents with you:

• Picture ID
• Social Security Card
